Kevin Graber steps into the role of Manager for the Lowell Spinners with a reputation as one of the most respected and driven coaches in American baseball. A veteran leader with deep roots in both professional and high-school baseball, Graber combines a champion’s drive with a proven ability to develop players and build winning cultures at every level of the sport.

Graber’s recent professional experience includes two seasons in the Chicago Cubs organization, where he served as a coach and coordinator and culminated his tenure by managing the Tennessee Smokies—Chicago’s Double-A affiliate—to the Southern League Championship in 2023, the franchise’s first outright title in 45 years. His ability to lead prospects through the challenges of pro ball underscored his strategic mindset and talent-development expertise.

Before returning to New England, Graber was long celebrated as the head baseball coach at Phillips Academy Andover, where he returned in 2024 after his stint with the Cubs. Over more than a decade in the prep ranks, he transformed the program into a regional powerhouse, leading teams to multiple Central New England Prep championships and earning admiration for his commitment to athletic excellence and character development.

Graber’s career also features experience in the prestigious Cape Cod League, where he worked as an assistant coach, and a tenure as an associate scout for the New York Yankees, further showcasing his ability to evaluate and nurture talent at all stages.
