About Us
Welcome Back to LeLacheur Park
There’s a special feeling in Lowell right now — the Lowell Spinners are back.
After five years of silence, baseball has returned to LeLacheur Park, and with it comes a renewed sense of pride, excitement, and community. For generations of fans, the ballpark has always been more than a place to watch a game. It’s been a gathering place, a summer tradition, and a shared experience. We’re proud to bring that feeling back to life.
OUR HISTORY — AND WHY IT MATTERS
LeLacheur Park has been home to some unforgettable moments and incredible players. Over the years, future Major League Baseball stars took the field in Lowell, launching professional careers that would eventually carry them to baseball’s biggest stages.
Those players didn’t just pass through Lowell — they helped define what Spinners baseball meant: passion, opportunity, and connection. That legacy matters to us, and it will always be part of who we are.
A NEW CHAPTER, A FAMILIAR FEEL
Today’s Lowell Spinners compete in the Futures Collegiate League of New England, featuring elite college players from right here across the country. While the path to the Major Leagues may look different than it once did, the talent on the field is very real — and many players in this league have gone on to professional baseball, including appearances on baseball’s biggest stages.
On any given night, fans are watching tomorrow’s stars take their next steps, right here in Lowell.
WHAT SPINNERS BASEBALL IS ALL ABOUT
Lowell Spinners baseball has always been about more than the final score.
It’s about bringing people together.
It’s about affordable family fun.
It’s about traditions — old ones returning and new ones being created.
It’s about experiences that make people proud to call this their team.
We’re bringing back what made Spinners games special: the energy, the creativity, and the “Spinnertainment” that turned nights at the ballpark into unforgettable memories. From promotions and on-field fun to kids’ activities and community celebrations, our goal is simple — make every visit to LeLacheur Park a night worth remembering.
LOCAL OWNERSHIP. FAMILIAR FACES.
This new chapter of the Lowell Spinners is led by a local ownership group featuring Marc Deschenes and John Croteau who have deep ties to the community and the game of baseball. Their commitment to Lowell goes beyond the ballpark — it’s about investing in the city, the fans, and the future of the franchise.
At the same time, there’s continuity. Tim Bawmann, the former Spinner’s President and General Manager is back, bringing experience, institutional knowledge, and a genuine love for what this team means to Lowell. That blend of fresh vision and trusted leadership is what makes this moment special.
OUR PROMISE TO THE COMMUNITY
The Lowell Spinners belong to Lowell.
We’re here to celebrate the city, support local organizations, welcome families, and create a place where everyone feels at home. Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering Spinners baseball for the first time, you’re part of what comes next.
Every night is Opening Night.
Come see what’s next.
