What a night at LeLacheur.

With a sellout crowd in attendance - we a New England-wide NESN audience what the Spinners mean to Lowell. Thank you fans, for showing up and enjoying yet another beautiful summer night at LeLacheur. Our game recap is below:

Spinners Host Vermont Lake Monsters in NESN Showcase at LeLacheur Park

Over 4,000 fans packed LeLacheur park tonight to watch the Spinners battle it out with the Lake Monsters. The Spinners held the defensive ground, but ultimately succumbed to the Lake Monsters 6-2. 

In the bottom of the third, the Spinners struck first. Jack Quigley ignited the offense with a ringing triple to right-center. Moments later, Cam Biller drove him home with a sharp RBI single to right putting Lowell on the board 1-2.

The bats kept applying pressure in the fourth. David Vanderzouwen laced a single to left field and used aggressive base running to swipe second before advancing to third on a catching error. Nic Lembo cashed him in with an RBI groundout to short, pinching the game at 3-2 Vermont. The Spinners held the Lake Monsters offense 

Hayden Schimoler held out on the mound the first four innings, was relieved by Mikey St. Martin, and then Graham Gavin closing the game. 

“Hayden was good, and our relievers were pretty good as well,” said Head Coach Kevin Graber. “Specifically Graham Gavin, who has had some bad luck in some outings earlier in the season, came out and pumped strikes and spun his breaking ball and kept us close.”

Vermont's Reed Stygles had a game, pitching four innings with one hit, no runs, and nine strikeouts against the Spinners. The Spinners tried to contain the score gap, but Vermont's offense pushed through, and ultimately won. 

Looking ahead to next week, fans can gear up to reminisce on the good old days at 'Vintage Spinners' Night on Monday, July 27, 2026, at LeLacheur Park, celebrating everything that fueled over 400 straight sellouts in the 2000s.
