Spread the Love Contest Has a Winner
After receiving over 50 entries to bring the Spread the Love Tour to schools across the Merrimack Valley and its surrounding communities, the North Intermediate School in Wilmington has been selected as the winner. In what was a very difficult decision, the North Intermediate School stood out for their dedication to the community, participating in "Coats for Kids," "Toys for Tots," "Pennies for Patients," and more. Entries from over 25 students swayed the decision. As a result, the Spinners caravan of special guests will visit the students Friday, Feb. 13 to make Valentine's Day cards to be delivered at the Billerica Council on Aging later that day. We would like to thank all of the students who entered and extend a special congratulations to Darin MacEacheron of West Intermediate for the most creative submission.

Canaligator No. 1 Mascot!
Your favorite six-foot alligator, the Canaligator, was named the "Mascot of the Year" Sunday at Pats Peak's annual Mascot Day. Canaligator wowed the crowd with his dance moves to take the top honors in the Mascot Fashion Show, showing the same moves he has perfected 38 days a year here at LeLacheur. Click below to see photos of Canaligator strutting his stuff and be on the lookout for up-coming appearances from the Canaligator in the community. Congratulations, Gator!
